ELIZABETH GORE

With an insightful approach to the goal of achieving a "triple bottom line,” Elizabeth Gore describes how technology is changing the face of global entrepreneurship, transitioning job seekers to job creators.

The Entrepreneur Summit in Palo Alto brought together entrepreneurs from around the world, trade representatives, policy makers, business executives and even investors to collaborate on ways to expand small and medium businesses globally. VOA's Philip Alexiou sits down with Elizabeth Gore, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Dell.

Elizabeth Gore announces her new position as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Dell onstage at Disrupt SF 2014 and gives Josh Constine her perspective on balancing doing good and making a profit.

As women around the world are opening businesses at twice the rate of men but only receiving a very small percentage of funding, Elizabeth Gore, Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Dell and Chair Emeritus of the United Nations Foundation's Global Entrepreneurs Council, talks with Morning Joe's Mika Brzezinski and Mike Barnicle about efforts to bridge the gender gap.

Can trouble be good? Elizabeth Gore started shaking up the status quo at the Texas A&M University, where she protested for a women's facility on the male-dominated campus. Hear her journey from there to the vice president of global partnerships for the United Nations Foundation, where she leads grassroots efforts for campaigns targeting adolescent girls.

Elizabeth Gore is the resident entrepreneur at the United Nations Foundation. Once a small town girl from Texas, she is now an advocate for women's rights and social justice.
